Blueberry 'Jam'

Ingredients

240 g blueberries

Optional flavours:
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 tsp orange or lemon zest

Method

  1. Place the berries in a pan with a splash of water.

  2. Cook until the berries become juicy and jammy.

  3. Smash them slightly with a fork.

  4. You can flavour the jam further with vanilla, lemon or orange zest, or spices.

  5. Store in the fridge until needed.

  6. Use about 40 g as 'free' berry jam.
